Ayah Lock

Terms of use

Last updated October 27, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL NAME] for the Ayah Lock app and website. Using the app means you accept them, together with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

What the app does

Ayah Lock helps you build a daily Quran reading habit by locking apps you choose, through Apple's Screen Time, until you have read. You can change or turn off the locks in the app, and iOS lets you remove its Screen Time permission at any time. Calls are never blocked. Do not rely on the app to keep you from apps you need for safety, health or work.

Your account

You can use the app without an account. If you create one, keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else used your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings › Account.

Subscriptions and purchases

  • Ayah Lock Pro is offered as an auto-renewing yearly subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and can differ by country.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
  • A subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends, at the price then shown.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) after purchase. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • If you are offered a free trial, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies: reportaproblem.apple.com.

The Quran text

The Quran text and fonts come from the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex in Madinah and are shown without change, under its license. Translations and recitations, where shown, are credited to their sources. The app is a reading aid, not a religious authority.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, abuse our servers, or use the app against the law.

Disclaimer and liability

We work to keep the app correct and available, but it is provided “as is”. Prayer times are calculations and can be off by a few minutes: check your local mosque. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Ending

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above. These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY]. Contact: support@example.com.
